Financial Portfolio Management
Portfolio construction is a process of using security attributes or features so that they can be combined in a way that optimizes the overall outcomes. An investor gets benefited by spreading her scarce resources over various assets so that risk can be minimized. Investors concerned with the returns of a portfolio in a situation of uncertainty and turbulence should focus less on traditional investments and diversify their portfolio as much as possible.With this project, we analysed whether the commodities market, especially the agricultural commodities futures market, considered as an effective hedging tool, can be used for improving the performance of a traditional equity- bond portfolio.

Virtual Card Service
In the era of advanced payment systems, all you need is to carry your phone. With this project a bank can be enabled to swap it's customers existing physical credit/debit card with a Virtual card on their phone. The project is capable of handling all the customer's requests such as enabling the new card, disabling the existing card, payment verification, pin change as well as other personalized services. Using our services, a bank can save upto 20% of its annual expenditure from decreasing the number of new cards issued and frauds.

Interpreting a Mammogram
Mammograms are specialized medical images used to detect cancerous tissues. Softwares using AI techniques are able to provide predictions for medical image analysis. But they are not able to provide supporting evidences for their predictions, hence a second opinion from a domain expert such as a radiologist is required. With this project we tweak the current AI techniques to provide supporting evidences for their predictions so as to make the procedure more transparent. It enables a medical professional to gain a better insight of mammograms and aids in making better decisions.

Railway Health Monitoring Systems
This project was undertaken to design a system that can help the freight railroad companies to find a solution to frequent breakdowns. Rawdata from sensors (deployed carefully along the tracks) were analysed to track the wheel temperature, missing nuts and bolts, loose hose pipes, cracked wheel, etc and then generate appropriate alarm according to the severity of the problem.

TeleMedicine
A project in telecardiology was successfully deployed for a local hospital. The project enabled seamless diagnosis of ECG by a doctor at the hospital. A mobile van equipped with a digital ECG machine, networking equipment and a computing unit (laptop) to record and send the real time data, is sent to the rural areas nearby. The data collected by the technician, at the site, is uploaded to the cloud. A push notification generated by the new data upload action is received on the doctor’s device. The doctor uploads the diagnosis and prescription back to the cloud. The technician receives a notification as soon as the file is uploaded.
